The Story of Us

My future sister-in-law Taylor started blogging when she find out she was pregnant with her first child, Tristyn. I started reading her blogs, out of nosiness, and thought I might start one myself. I love writing and I write in my journal all the time, but my hand can only last so long. So I decided to start a blog of my own. I type pretty fast and my hands never cramp up from typing, so this is the best way to get my thoughts and feelings down. I can never say all that I want to say in my journal because after a couple of sentences, my hand starts hurting. Anyway, the reason for my blogging is because I want to record all the steps Jeremy and I are taking as we prepare and plan for our future as husband and wife. Jeremy and I met in November of 2001 in a chat room on Yahoo. It might seem strange and unusual to other people that we met this way, but to us it was fate. We clicked right away and we talked all night until we both had to get in the shower and go to work. We talked for several months after that until we finally met on July 5, 2002. The night before, my friends and I went to Boston to celebrate Fourth of July. We didn't get home till after midnight and I was afraid I wouldn't get enough sleep, but it ended up that I didn't sleep at all that night. I was too anxious and excited. While in Georgia, we did a lot of things. We went to Six Flags, went to Piedmont Park for a nice picnic, went to On the Bricks, and did other fun stuff. I grew up in a very small town in Connecticut, so I just loved the city. After my visit, we both thought we it would nice if I moved down here. So on September 6, 2002, I loaded up my car and drove to LaGuardia Airport. Jeremy didn't want me to drive to Atlanta by myself, so he flew to New York to drive down with me. Jeremy's never been to NYC before, so we spent one night there before we started our long drive down. We went to Times Square, Central Park, and the Empire State Building. We had a blast and Jeremy absolutely loved it. What sucked though was that we got two parking tickets $50 each. We weren't going to pay it until my dad received a letter a month later stating that I had to pay it. After two weeks of living here, I got a job working at a daycare. I love kids, so I loved the job. I no longer work there, but I miss the kids. Anyway, after some ups and downs, Jeremy proposed and that is when the headaches started coming...haha.
